Driven and knowledgeable with over 20 years’ experience working in the accounting sector, Adam Giliberti, is a forensic accountant and business valuation specialist and the founder and principal at AVG Forensic.
Friendly and genuine, Adam really listens to his clients – he is emphatic and objective with his advice. Adam has a comprehensive understanding of how expert evidence can assist in strengthening a client’s position in a dispute or in litigation proceedings. He thrives in difficult situations faced by clients and knows that when it comes to contentious matters and disputes, adopting a methodical process assists his clients in achieving desired outcomes.
Adam began his accounting career in 1996 initially providing tax and business advice in a Chartered Accounting firm located in Sydney, which also provided litigation support services and served as his introduction to the world of forensic accounting and business valuations.
From 2000, Adam pursued his passion in the field of forensic accounting and valuations on a permanent basis. He headed to the UK in 2002 and worked as a forensic accountant in the Forensic and Disputes department within a ‘Big 4′ accounting firm and also in-house for a UK government department before returning to Australia to work within litigation divisions of various multinational consulting firms.
In addition to Adam’s professional qualifications and recognitions listed below, Adam holds a Diploma in Financial Services, which he obtained to evaluate the quality of financial advice received by clients and has undertaken training in intensive negotiation and other alternative dispute resolution methods to further his clients’ prospects of resolving disputes.
